If you look at trees long enough, sooner or later they may start to look back at you -- or so it would seem.
A great tree face begins with a convincing pair of eyes, usually the scars of former branch attachments. Once eyes have been found, a mere fissure in the bark can pass for a nose or mouth. Some faces must be viewed with a Picasso-like sense of misalignment. Others are so realistic, they will blow your mind.
But don't take my word for it -- click here to see the faces for yourself.
